Just waiting now....
Well, it seems like there's not much to say these days. We are at that point of waiting expectantly. I'm now 35 weeks, so we have approximately 5 weeks left, give or take. I have definitely gotten to the place where I'm tired of being pregnant and dealing with the discomforts that go along with it. I'm just ready to hold Emma and see what she looks like! Brad is also dying to meet her! Thankfully, feeling her movements helps me to continue to wait and be patient with my discomforts. She's quite active! Last week the doctor felt my belly and told me how Emma was situated in the womb. She is head down, so that's great!
Some of my friends at Chapelwood UMC (our old church in Houston) gave me a shower last Saturday. It was wonderful! They did an exceptional job with everything and I had a great turnout. I was overwhelmed that the connection to that church is still so strong even though we haven't been attending there since Aug 2004. I also worked there, so I know that adds to the depth of friendship.
All in all things are coming together. Trying to get the nursery settled. I have a ton of things to wash - clothes, blankets, etc. I'm also planning to cook some meals and freeze them to make things a little easier for Brad. Hopefully these tasks will pass the time quickly.
Tiffany
